Our Story

Over twelve years ago Rob and Laina McFerren, a young Valencia couple, set out to do something unusual in the restaurant and brewpub world and nonexistent in Santa Clarita.  They wanted to create a brewpub where both the food and the ale were equally esteemed and worthy to stand on their own.  Often in restaurant and brewpub category, the focus is on the beer and the food is an afterthought.  Wolf Creek was designed to be a place where guests could come and never even try the ale, yet still be thrilled with experience.  Our goal, whether you come to the restaurant for a beer, come for an appetizer, come for an entrée, come for just dessert, or come to enjoy the gamut, is that you find any one of our offerings worthy of the visit.

The Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co. mission, to offer both compelling food and ale, has been accomplished through a commitment to making everything in-house.  Our appetizers and entrees, as well as sauces and dressings, are all made in the restaurant every day.  The recipes are ours and the production is handled by us so we know that the result is going to be consistently excellent.  If we don’t make it, we don’t use it.  We combine fresh produce with premium meat and poultry from select vendors to ensure that we start with the best ingredients.  This allows us to create and maintain “come back flavors.”  When you try one of our signature items, such as the Taos Egg Rolls, Southwestern Salad, or Chocolate Layer Cake, you will find that we have delivered something special. 

Over a decade later, Rob and Laina’s dream and vision has developed into a fixture in the Valencia, Santa Clarita dining community.  Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co., having won numerous awards for their entrees, desserts, and hand-crafted ales over the years, most recently was voted by the readership of the The Signal: “best lunch”, “best business lunch” and “best dessert”.  Whether for a special occasion, for a business lunch, or the weekly home away from home, Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co. continues to be one of Santa Clarita’s favorite choices.  We are thankful for the recognition and proud of our restaurant.  Most of all we are thankful for the Santa Claritans who have voted for us with their time and resources day after day and week after week these past 13 years.  Thank you Santa Clarita!   It is a pleasure to serve you in this wonderful community that we call home.
